this is the last time.

to me, Musleh debate was a rather interesting competition. Undeniably, it had countless flaws
but I still have to give some crdit to the organizers for the fact that it was their first
time hosting such a tournament and they made it happen.There's so much to tell you guys that I dunno where I
should start.

Lets start of with the cool adjudicators who evaluated us for the first 4 rounds.(yes, only FOUR rounds)

well, fortunately for us ( and unfortunately for them, i assume) we were only allowed to be judged by
two judges. Kak Izzati (no offence if I spelt it wrong (: ) and kak asma both of them were really nice, cool and cute. (this is called bribery.. :D)
we had to be judged by the both of them ONLY for the fact that the other adjudicators were mostly
-alumnis from our school
-or they had something to do with our school.
I really loved it though, being judged by two debaters who were really experienced if compared to us (duhhh!) and to top it all of they were from
IIU. Makes it much much bettah.

Hmm,what about my teammates?
1st speaker- me (you can blame selam)

2nd- Athirah. I'm proudda you! You really improved. Make sure it's consistent throughout ur debating life. I enjoyed evry moment with you. =3

3rd-Zatil. The most aggresive and pumped-up speaker in our debate a.k.a my senior. :D Thanks for being the most mature senior XD and also, sorry cuz I know at times I got on ur nerves. Oh, and also, thanks for enduring our silly jokes and embarrassing moments.
also credits to zatil for helping to sort out our team's prob. and be the one who usually explains certain complicated things. And also, thnks for being the devils advocate! I love you. =3

R- Khair.Acted like our big bro throughout the whole tournament. Usually gave us pep-talks to liften up our spirit or 'ride the horse back. I see a lotta potential in you. Who knows, maybe next year you can go to IIU? :D Certainly, you did a great job. Evnthough u were the reserve!


The two hyper-active girls who always made me happy.

Dalila! (haha, yes..you are nice and funny and loud and a lot of fun..certainly the oppo of my first impression.. heehehe. One last thing, budak lambat and over-hygienic!)

Qarie. ^^ (My loyal IIU team mate. The one who at times can be certainly mean to strangers and alos, very sensible kadang2. and also, the one who usually gangs up with me to do certain jokes)

My ex-team mate as well. It's okay that we didnt break together into the semis. I can see you go even further in UIA next year. Just don't stop being sarcastic & hilarious. Stop phone tapping! that's all I could say.

Daeng: Thanks for being smart and helping the juniors eventhough you thought they 'misused' you.

Semi? What?

Yah, it appears that we didnt manage to make it to the finals but semi-finals were indeed a really good achievement.
So please stop questioning us or making statements like..
'isnt this the school who got into the finals in IIU? apela musleh punye pun tak dapat.'
or
'you guys shouldnt have lost to this school, you didnt compete.. you werent serious..'
and the list goes on..

but having a spot in the finals of IIU debate before doesnt indicate that we CANT lose to anything.
That's just bollocks, I mean an impossible burden for us to carry.
And it doesnt mean tht if we didnt get into the finals or the other team didnt get into the semis,we didnt
give our best in each debate. Doesnt mean that we werent serious.
Tell me poeple, who doesnt want to win?
It's okay, we're gonna use those criticism and hopefully, improve.


At the end of the day, it's still our fault for not breaking into the finals.
